Pleased to be back to the FTNB grind after a brief hiatus. (The only thing worse than day jobs in looking for day jobs, right?) This week seems to be an appropriate one since two of my favorite acts and two of the first I ever wrote about are performing this week. Darrin Bradbury and Them Vibes.

Because of the rarity of this disease, fundraising is a grassroots effort shouldered mostly by patients, family, and friends. Monthly story-telling series. The theme this month is about objects. So, grab something meaningful and share the story behind it. There is a theme every month and nine folks are chosen to share a ten minute story related to the theme.

Lavender Country is America’s first openly gay country band originating in Seattle in the early 70’s. The bill is rounded out by a couple local acts. Josh Hedley is more than Justin Townes Earle’s fiddle player—he’s got a set of pipes on him. Becca Mancari is an East Nashville staple. If you’ve seen her, you know it is good stuff.
