This week is already flying by. Had a big weekend entertaining out of town guests, so I’m just now getting around to this. Here are some shows for the next few days. Per usual, ❤ = Show of the week. ★ = I plan to attend.

Yoga on the Field | Nissan Stadium | Thursday, May 19th, 6:00-8:30 pm | $20 ADV / $25 Door

Join hundreds of yogis at Nissan Stadium, the home of the Tennessee Titans, for the second annual Yoga on the Field in a benefit for Soles4Souls, Inc. This celebration of Nashville’s yoga community includes an invigorating twilight class that will stretch from end zone to end zone! Experience the one-of-a-kind feeling of over a thousand yogis breathing and practicing together in rhythm. Then stay after class to meet and mingle over cocktails. The class will be led by Susannah Herring and Amanda McGown of Hot Yoga Plus and paired with a custom playlist by DJ Mindub. All levels are welcome. Water will be provided, but please bring your own mat and towel. Registration starts at 6pm, class will begin promptly at 6:30. Please stick around for some specialty cocktails at our cash bar from 7:30-8:30.

Full Moon Pickin’ Party | Warner Park Equestrian Center | Friday, May 20th at 7:00 pm | $20 ADV / $25 Day of

Full Moon Pickin’ Parties feature Middle Tennessee’s finest bluegrass and roots music under the light of a full moon. Musicians and music-lovers alike are invited to enjoy this beloved Nashville tradition. Three headlining bands will take to the stage at the Warner Park Equestrian Center, while pickers of all ages and abilities form jam circles around the grounds.

Funds raised by Pickin’ Parties will help Friends of Warner Parks continue its mission of protection and stewardship of Nashville’s 3,180 acre Warner Parks system! Cash or check only at the door. It is a family-friendly event. Multiple food trucks and vendors including Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, Funk Seoul Brother, Music City Pie Co., The Mobile Chef, Moose Head Kettle Corn, S’more Love Bakery, You may also bring your own. Water, soft drinks and up to four beers (for adults 21 and up) are included with admission. Glass bottles or containers of any kind, large coolers (over 16 quarts), and outside alcohol are prohibited. Limited seating is available so we recommend bringing blankets or camping chairs. Amy LaVere is an American singer, songwriter, upright bass player and actress based in Memphis, Tennessee. Her music is classified as Americana, combining a blend of classic country, gypsy jazz, and southern soul. She has released three albums on Memphis label Archer Records, and has acting credits in motion pictures. She puts on a great show. Haven’t seen her in a while and looking forward to the opportunity to do so. Tickets here.
